Pharmaceutical fraudster Martin Shkreli's $5 million bail was revoked by an angry federal judge earlier today.
Many people remember Mr. Shkreli as the former CEO of Turing Pharmaceutical, which price gouged it's prescription medication "Daraprim" by 5000%. A pill which was used to treat parasitic infections and prevent nervous system infections for HIV patients.
$5 Million Bail Revoked
Shkreli publicly announced to his 70,000 followers that he was offering a $5,000 bounty for samples of Hillary Clinton's hair via Facebook.
Federal judge Kiyo Matsumoto's decision came after hearing from Shkreli's attorney Benjamin Brafman pleaded his clients innocence for nearly an hour in the Brooklyn court room to not remand him over a "stupid facebook post".
Judge Matsumoto's decision was clear after stating "he knows exactly what he is doing, he needs to go in" and "The fact that he continues to remain unaware of the inappropriateness of his actions or words, demonstrates to me that he may be an ongoing danger to the public"
Martin Shkreli is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn
